Okay, some people might have a question in mind: How the heck am I going to pronounce 'Illyndarn'? Before telling you its proper pronunciation, let me just tell you how I got this name (as pf what MOST people had asked me).
Illyndarn is actually a word that just popped into my mind one fine day. You see, when I was an angsty teenager, I used to write stories. Yes, some really stupid stories by some boy who lived his own imaginary world. So, that little insecure boy was in his chair, venting out his grunts in the form of short stories while ignoring his teacher in the midst of the class. The story's called Phoenix Princess - The Dueling of Both Worlds, which was supposed to have 3 sagas, each having 12 chapters. Haha, at least that was what the boy had in mind. So in the story there were two worlds: The Unvivid World (a foreign dimension) and The Equal World (our place called Earth), which they were both connected through a gateway called The BorderDoor (sounds stupid a'ight?). Ultimately, as what you can see from the title of the story, the Phoenix Princess was the guardian of the gateway, preventing any trespassing of inhabitants from both worlds into each other, and problems arose when the tool to guard the door, the Phoenix Ruby was stolen. Hence, the Phoenix Princess was forced to retrieve the missing ruby and hunt down all villains who have crossed the gateway into the mortal world of Earth.
So from there, Illyndarn was born. It is a region actually, the heart of the land of Elves, with other major regions such as Panleot and Pyssipini. Well, you can say Illyndarn is kinda like the capital of all, it is where the Elven Royalty resides. Haha, I'm sorry, I could already hear some grumbles about the post eh? Well, to cut short, it's pronounced Aa-ii-lin-darn.
