Okay, some people might have a question in mind: How the heck am I going to pronounce 'Illyndarn'? Before telling you its proper pronunciation, let me just tell you how I got this name (as pf what MOST people had asked me).

Illyndarn is actually a word that just popped into my mind one fine day. You see, when I was an angsty teenager, I used to write stories. Yes, some really stupid stories by some boy who lived his own imaginary world. So, that little insecure boy was in his chair, venting out his grunts in the form of short stories while ignoring his teacher in the midst of the class. The story's called Phoenix Princess - The Dueling of Both Worlds, which was supposed to have 3 sagas, each having 12 chapters. Haha, at least that was what the boy had in mind. So in the story there were two worlds: The Unvivid World (a foreign dimension) and The Equal World (our place called Earth), which they were both connected through a gateway called The BorderDoor (sounds stupid a'ight?). Ultimately, as what you can see from the title of the story, the Phoenix Princess was the guardian of the gateway, preventing any trespassing of inhabitants from both worlds into each other, and problems arose when the tool to guard the door, the Phoenix Ruby was stolen. Hence, the Phoenix Princess was forced to retrieve the missing ruby and hunt down all villains who have crossed the gateway into the mortal world of Earth.

So from there, Illyndarn was born. It is a region actually, the heart of the land of Elves, with other major regions such as Panleot and Pyssipini. Well, you can say Illyndarn is kinda like the capital of all, it is where the Elven Royalty resides. Haha, I'm sorry, I could already hear some grumbles about the post eh? Well, to cut short, it's pronounced Aa-ii-lin-darn.

The Good Old Days (part 1)

Gone were the days of pure innocence, naive and angst...and when I glance back through it, pieces of memories begin to unveil bits by bits. thus, bringing the full force of nostalgia unto me.

and that was when we were all in our sweet 16

my very own sweet 16 at Kiku Zakura

and that was Kezanne's sweet 16

We had our crazy moments too - perhaps being the craziest bunch in the whole school:

(no, we weren't kissing - - )

Talk about the crazies...

xoxo,
Aowayne

I haven't been eating KFC for yonks, and I never realized how they reduced the size of their burgers till this:

and now, compare this (which I bought at a Ramlee burger stall just by the road outside Maybank):

see the difference? Ramlee burger cost me RM 2.80 and KFC burger set cost me RM 5.90 but it could barely fill my stomach to even half. So much for that...

The Parted Two - In The Midst of Noon

*          *         *
He tossed his bag and threw himself on the bed..

What a day, he thought. Keith Summerain wasn't quite a studious student, as a matter of fact, he got himself barred from the examination a couple of times, not because of horrible performance but 'cause of ditching the class all the time. Keith had always loved Alchemy class ever since the class started, it was as though there were something that kept tight of his attention - and that was his mentor. While lying inn bed, Keith's heart felt warm, songs of birds chirping by the window, his mind still lingered on memories in class, visualizing the un-vivid scenes of his mentor...

"Keith, get yourself down NOW and help me out with the lunch meal!!!" his sister, Jaine yelled.. With that  strength oof the voice, she could easily be heard even from far as miles away.

The quiet noon was broken by the yellings of his sister. He lazily dragged himself up and rushed down to his sister. "There you are dreamy boy. What were you doing upstairs?" His sister asked just as he went to her.

"Nah, I was just chilling. The scorching noon is making me drowsy sis," He replied slowly.
"You know, it's weird to see you not missing any Alchemy class this sem. Are you up to something in school?" Jaine asked with much suspicion.
"N-no...nothing's up sis. It's just that I feel bad for ditching classes. After all, you're the one's paying my fees, a'ight?"
"Liar. C'mon. Spill the beans. Wait, lemme guess, you've got a hot mentor that's why?"
"I don't know. Don't ask me. Urgh! I'm heading to the occult store now, bye!!"

Keith hurried off as he stuck the last plate on the table. In the midst of the scorching noon, his heart still pounds from the mixed uncertainties about his mentor.

Gosh, that was close. But it's nothing wrong to have a little crush on my mentor a'ight, he whispered silently ..

Of random boredom and Severe fatigue

First off, I'm freakin' sleepy at the moment and this is because I stayed up 'till 5 a.m. in the morning, which leaves in severe fatigue state, not to mention bloodshot eyes -  like this:

note: I scared the hell outta myself when I inserted both eyeballs into this post. So, I'm just gonna put one eyeball in the centre in the hopes that it would not freak people out like it did to me =S

---Also, forgive me if this post accidentally bores any of you guys out. Please understand that my brain is not functioning properly as it should be - and it sucks...

But one thing's for sure, all those exhausted energy used was very much worth for the day. (ps: Lynn and Bev, you guys are the greatest MOFOs eva!!!!) So after running errands with our very Ms.Lynn and Ms.Beverly, we went up to Genting Gohtong Jaya for dinner with Lynn's family - including 2 of her cool aunties and her somewhat cute cousin. Just in case you didn't know, I had my first time of my life tasting "Trionychidae".

Sounds alien to you? Check the picture below:

Got-cha back there??? HA HA HA. Well, if you're Chinese I'll give you a tight slap in the face if you don't know what this is. Fine, if you're seriously blurrrr about it, here's the definition http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trionychidae (from wiki. - shut up, I'm not searching info for assignment, so wikipedia is allowed.)

=p=p

hahaha. Ok, by the way if you have noticed and/or heard some music playing in the background, I've added a music player on the right side of the web. "I know, it's red in color and it DOESN'T play nice music does it?" Well, I do hope you fellows would like the music as I find it quite peaceful and chillax-ing. It's even more orgasmic better when played softly when you're having your dinner and speaking of which, it's way past my dinner time. So I guess that's all for now. Ciaoziess!!!

Back on blogosphere

Well, if it wasn't for IT assignment I would have never thought of coming back to blogosphere. (so it's either 'thank you' IT or 'so much for that' IT.) Bah, but I sure wouldn't mind some little writings for now since I desperately need to brush up on writing skills.

So, how long has it been? 3 years I guess since I had my last post. Darn, feeling a little nostalgic now, not to mention it still gives me the creeps from the past dreadful experience..

Friday has always been quite a boring day, bores the sh!t out of me for just any matter and here I am, sitting in front of the monitor cracking my head up for ideas, which I bet eventually leaves me like this:
